Discover Cheltenham Music Festival online
Although Cheltenham Music Festival this July has been cancelled, its spirit lives on in an online celebration which is available on the festival website from Saturday 4 July. Cheltenham Music Festival: Replay highlights some of the innovative features of the classical music event, including a discussion with its education manager Philippa Claridge with “Musicat” Ben Jones about the festival’s year-round education programme Musicate. This helps primary school teachers bring the music curriculum to life. The programme has carried on during lockdown when the Musicats, young musicians from Birmingham Conservatoire have recorded a new video each week, with fun interactive activities at home or at school.
