King’s hosts virtual open event this March with “live” visits promised in May
The King’s School in Gloucester has planned two open events this spring for parents to explore the school either virtually or, if government restrictions allow, in person. The first is a Virtual Whole School Open Morning on Saturday 6 March which features question and answer sessions with pupils, an interactive map and video presentations from the Headmaster, the Head of Junior School and Head of Little King’s - personal tours and Zoom meetings can also be booked.
The school also hopes to hold a real open morning on Saturday 15 May, where parents and prospective pupils can experience the school environment for themselves.
King’s is one of the the leading independent day schools in the South West, with just over 630 pupils, girls and boys, aged 3 to 18.
While it has a record of excellent A Level and GCSE results, the school also aims to develop well-rounded individuals. Music, sport and drama play an important role in school life and pupils are actively encouraged to participate in the many extra-curricular activities on offer.
