Giffords to contact ticket-holders as new start for ‘The Hooley’ announced

The spectacular show promised by Stroud-based Giffords Circus for 2020, ‘The Hooley’, is scheduled to go ahead at last, opening 19 May 2021. The circus has announced that it is busy behind the scenes amending its tour route dates from the original schedule and plans to contact all existing ticket holders as a matter of priority as soon as the new dates are available. It expects to send out all the revised tickets by the end of April.

It has requested ticket holders do not email the circus for now as this will only slow things down.

“We are aware that you are all waiting on tenterhooks about how to exchange your tickets and when you will be able to book new tickets,” says a spokesperson for the circus. “If your ticket has been affected we will be contacting you as soon as possible over the next few weeks either by phone or email, from our box office, The Everyman Theatre [Cheltenham]. Please bear with us as we expect this to be an extremely busy time.”

They added that ticket-holders should not worry if tour dates are listed as “sold out” online. “This is not the case and is just temporary to allow us to make the changes as quickly as possible.”
