Taurus Crafts promises a summer holiday of family creativity and fun with activities, an outdoor playground, a Summer Fair and delicious food and drink.
The Forest of Dean visitor centre is renowned for its activity programmes, which have run every school holiday for the last 16 years. The programme includes pottery painting, clay play, jewellery making, slime, magic shows, and lots more. All activities follow current government guidance.
Part of the Camphill Village Trust, a charity supporting adults with learning disabilities; autism; mental health challenges and complex needs, Taurus Crafts runs its shops and café with a mixed ability team providing opportunities for individuals to learn and develop.
The gift shop and home and fashion shop sell fair trade, sustainable, local, and ethically sourced products. Its café serves delicious breakfasts baps, light bites, vegan specials and their cakes, bakes and ice creams.
