Run the Rainbow!
Beware the powdered paint and foam when you take part in the next hilarious fundraising event by Longfield Community Hospice in Minchinhampton! Run the Rainbow, which takes place at Cotswold Airport on Sunday 17 July, invites families to take part in a 5k run, walk or skip to raise money for this wonderful local charity. There will be music and inflatables to enjoy, but the catch is that powdered paint and foam will be flying as participants parade along the route.
Whether you try to avoid all that, or just embrace the mess and try to get as colourful as possible over course is entirely your choice. However you approach it, you’ll be supporting the important work of the hospice in both the community and at their Minchinhampton base. The event takes place from 11am to 2pm. Tickets cost £15 to £20 and just £60 raised could pay for a carer to visit a patient at home.
