The Queen’s Baton Relay comes to Cheltenham
Cheltenham families can look forward to a great family afternoon out on Tue 5 Jul as The Queen’s Baton Relay passes through the town before arriving in Pittville Park. The event forms part of the build up to the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, this July. The baton visits The Prince of Wales Stadium before arriving at the park and Pump Rooms at 6pm.
Visitors are encouraged to enjoy a late afternoon picnic in the park, near the Pump Room, from 5pm onwards and watch the relay as it passes through. The celebration features free live music specially chosen for this final leg in the build up to Games.
