It’s not quite the 12 days of Christmas yet, but Father Christmas is joined by local luminaries Lord and Lady Apsley to open a day of festive fundraising for local charities in Cirencester Park next week on Thurs 22 Dec. Kicking off at 9.30am, the great man from the North Pole is joined by his Lord and Ladyship, to open activities including a morning dog walk, treasure hunt, singing from local theatre group The Phoenix Revue, and carols from local choirs Siren Sisters and The Cirencester Male Voice Choir. Christmas-themed food and drink are also available throughout the day.
With support from home-building group The Steadings, the event raises funds for four Gloucestershire-based charities, The National Foundation for Retired Service Animals (NFRSA) which supports former service dogs and horses, The Cirencester Male Voice Choir a choir that performs at charitable events, Cirencester Guide Dogs for the Blind that runs events and initiatives for its national charity and Aim Up that supports adults living with disabilities in the Cheltenham area.
