Have a fun Feb with Friday Froglets at Slimbridge

Parents wanting to entertain their children and teach them about nature’s smallest beasts should look no further than WWT Slimbridge’s Friday Froglets club. Toddlers and other little ones can discover ‘minibeasts’ and ‘nature creatures’ as they build bug houses and dens. The activity runs at 10.30am on Fri 3 and Fri 10 Feb. The meeting point is different on each date so enquire at the centre’s admissions desk to find out where to go.

The wildlife centre is based in the wetlands and marshes of the Severn Estuary, and is home to a wide range of flora and fauna. The reserve is currently welcoming up to 30,000 wild ducks, geese, and swans that include Bewick’s Swans, White-Fronted Geese, Lapwing, Water Rail and Curlew.

Tickets cost £5 per child plus standard admission and booking is suggested via the website.
