Living history returns to the castle for a second year. It’s 1642 and England is divided between supporters of Charles I and Parliament. Local people are recruited and trained to join the garrison. To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, Berkeley Castle hosts a previous one. It is 1673 and The Merry Monarch, King Charles II, visits Berkeley Castle.
