2025 promises to be an extraordinary year for families at Blackheath Halls, with a dazzling line-up of performances that will capture the hearts of children and adults alike.
The Smartest Giant in Town (Saturday 22nd – Sunday 23rd February) opens the season with a heartwarming tale of kindness, courage, and fashion! Based on the popular picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, this lively, musical adaptation follows the story of a giant who discovers that true wealth lies in friendship and generosity. Next up, The Gruffalo (15th – 16th March) brings another classic Donaldson-Scheffler collaboration to the stage. This adventure follows the quick-witted mouse as he outsmarts predators in the forest, including the fearsome Gruffalo.
For families who love a good farming tale, Farm Boy (Saturday 5th – Sunday 6th April) is a must-see. This charming sequel to War Horse explores the bond between a young boy and his beloved horse in rural England, weaving a heartfelt story about growing up, responsibility, and the importance of family.
Finally, The Elmer Adventure (25th – 27th April) will add a burst of colour to the stage with its fun-filled story of Elmer, the patchwork elephant.
