Following last year’s smash-hit show The Snow Queen, Tobacco Factory Theatres will be bringing Oliver Twist to its main Factory Theatre stage for Christmas this year.
This classic story with a Christmas twist will come alive in riotous fashion, as TFT's festive offerings so often do, sees Oliver escape the workhouse to join the outrageous escapades of Fagin and his merry band of pickpockets.
A brighter, bigger hearted production you will not find anywhere across the South West, as Tobacco Factory Theatres brings this famous tale to Bristol. The show has been written by Olivier Award-winning Bristol playwright Adam Peck (A Monster Calls), and will be directed by Heidi Vaughan, the new TFT Artistic Director, with music from composer and multi- instrumentalist Seamas Carey.
The trio have worked together before – most recently for Travelling Light’s Belle and Sebastien, the acclaimed family Christmas show at Bristol Old Vic’s Weston Studio in 2022.
Oliver Twist (age recommendation 7+) is at Tobacco Factory
Theatres from 1st December to 21st January 2024 at 7pm, with additional matinee shows across the season.
