SALTO GYMNASTICS CLUB OPENING NEW TRAINING PITS FACILITIES
In August 2013, SALTO Gymnastics Club, based in Sundon Park, Luton, was among a few sports clubs in the country to be awarded a £50,000 grant under the SPORT ENGLAND, Inspired Facilities programme funded by the National Lottery. In support of the project, the Bedfordshire and Luton Community Trust's London Luton Airport Fund added a further £15,000 to this project in two grants over the last year and the club has received support from other grant making trusts. The Club has pledged almost all its reserves to support this project too and has made it possible to invest approximately £100,000 in the enhancements to the already excellent training facilities at the SALTO Centre.
