Bedfringe is back and it's bigger than ever!
From Thursday 18th – Sunday 28th July, Bedford will host the 17th International Bedford Festival Fringe bringing to the town a carefully selected programme of comedy, theatre, live music, film, dance & physical theatre, spoken word and poetry to your doorstep. This year, events will be held at The Quarry Theatre. Expect to see 160+ events in 11 days across 4 venues! Hopefully there will be something for everyone.
Some highlights this year include the return of Lamphouse Theatre with their brand new show Frankenstein (On a Budget)… This comes to the festival on the 20th and 21st July. You may have seen their brilliant War of The Worlds show a couple years ago. Justin Moorhouse makes his Bedfringe debut with a preview of his Edinburgh show ‘The Greatest Performance of My Life (20th July). We also have a fabulous exhibition of cartoons from James Mellor and Clive Goddard with a meet the artists session booked on 20th & 21st July. More information about this on our website.
The music programme this year is the largest to date with artists performing in the garden, studio and bar. Lots of these events are free so you can binge the fringe without spending a penny! Some highlights are the incredible Beatboxer- BeatFox, Michael Greene and The Moggies Band.
