Have You Seen Tango? Missing Bird of Prey in Wilstead Area
Missing Black Kite – Tango from Herrings Green Farm, Wilstead MK45 3DT
Tango our Black Kite was last seen on 10th April at 3.15pm flying from cotton end road, Wilstead, Bedford up the hill towards Haynes. He is wearing flying slips. (A leather strap on each leg).
If you spot Tango please don’t approach him, this is likely to scare him, he’s a sensitive chap. Instead snap a picture of him and send it to 07803017145 along with the location so that we can identify him and respond if it is indeed him. He poses absolutely no threat to people or pets and we are desperate to get him back safe and sound so we greatly appreciate your help.
The black kite is slightly smaller than the red kite with darker plumage and the fork in the tail is much more subtle, barely noticeable compared to that of the red kite. He is most easily identifiable by his leather straps hanging from his ankles.
If you spot him you can also contact us at info@birdsofpreycentre.co.uk or call us on 01234742362 or 01234742766
