Panto season is in full swing… oh yes it is! I took my two children to the VIP showing of Robin Hood and the Magic Arrow at South Hill Park and it was everything that a pantomime should be!
Great characters, high energy singing and dancing, a fun storyline and even some water pistols for good measure!
The panto is created in house at South Hill Park and it really comes across that the cast are like an ‘on stage family’. The story follows the adventure of Robin Hood to save Maid Marion and is entertaining for children and adults alike.
SHP is a lovely theatre and I treated the kids to a little tub of ice cream in the interval too.
The show ends with the audience literally getting up and dancing, leaving everyone feeling elated, there was a definite buzz from the audience as everyone exited having enjoyed the experience.
