TV star Alex Winters gets behind Acorns Hospice with Gung-Ho! – Britain’s biggest obstacle course

TV STAR Alex Winters says he’s determined to raise vital funds to help terminally ill children at Acorns Hospice when Britain’s biggest obstacle course comes to the West Midlands.

The CBeebies presenter visited Acorns Hospice in Walsall after choosing it as the partner charity for his wacky creation Gung-Ho! – a 5k inflatable obstacle course featuring Europe’s tallest slide.

The father-of-three says he is now even more motivated to raise cash and awareness for Acorns after seeing first-hand the vital work it does in the West Midlands, supporting sick children and their families at the most difficult time imaginable in their three hospices.

Funds will be raised at Gung-Ho!, Sandwell Valley, West Bromwich, on Saturday 18th June through runners’ sponsorship, collection buckets and volunteer stewards from the charity paid an hourly rate by Gung-Ho! to help on the day.

Runners will take on ten tricky obstacles, which include the world’s largest bouncy inflatable, a giant inflatable ball-pit, maze and the 200ft-long ‘Thriller’ – a slide taller than THREE double decker buses.
