Visit the woods that inspired Roald Dahl, spot signs of spring with your magical Matilda eyes, listen to heart-warming extracts from the story and get a great dose of the outdoors. Afterward head back to the Museum for refreshments that include your choice of homemade cake and a speciality tea, coffee or Rumsey’s hot chocolate. £10 per person plus Museum entry.
