Stagecoach Live in High Wycombe
Stagecoach Performing Arts prides itself in offering students fantastic performing opportunities as well as expert tuition. Stagecoach schools across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas recently came together for a fabulous showcase celebrating the work of Stagecoach throughout the Region. Hundreds of students performed in ‘Stagecoach Live in High Wycombe’ at ‘The Wycombe Swan Theatre’ on 23 October 2016.
Stagecoach Amersham presented ‘Which Witch Tours’, an original and highly creative piece of drama, dance and song. Stagecoach High Wycombe, Henley and Marlow delighted the audience with a Dahl-inspired medley to mark 100 years since the birth of the legendary storyteller. Stagecoach Leighton Buzzard wowed everybody with a ‘Hairspray’ song and dance Medley. Dance Troupe MK from Stagecoach Milton Keynes presented ‘Jax’n’Sax’, a high energy dance number, which made the audience smile from ear-to-ear.
As one proud parent commented, “All of the schools offered something with personality, and each school made the personality of their students shine through. You couldn’t help but join in cheering, clapping and being part of the infectiousness, which filled not only the stage but the entire theatre! A fantastic show!”
