Wild Beasts exhibition hosted at The Courtyard Art Studio
Wild Beasts at Claydon is a special exhibition hosted by The Courtyard Art Studio, featuring the artwork of sculptor James Ort and painter Tom Shepherd – two artists who love to creatively capture the vibrancy and character of the animal kingdom.
Tom Shepherd is a professional artist working in oils, acrylics and watercolours. He will be debuting his latest watercolour paintings in the show. “I am really happy to be exhibiting alongside James. Despite us each working in different media, our artwork compliments each other’s really well. We both use a lot of colour in our work, so the exhibition will be a vibrant bombardment on your senses”. James Ort runs The Phoenix Studio in Towersey, near Thame and has been sculpting for almost 10 years. Working predominantly in wire and clay, he combines the two contrasting mediums to achieve stunning results.
The exhibition will run from Saturday 25 May through to Wednesday 5 June, 11am - 5pm daily (closed Thursdays and Fridays). Both artists will be demonstrating throughout the show – take a look at www.thecourtyardartstudio.com for more details.
The Courtyard Art Studio can be found at Claydon Estate which is adjacent to and also sign posted as the National Trust's Claydon House. Free entry to the exhibition, free parking, wheelchair friendly and The Phoenix Kitchen on site make this a truly inspirational and stunning location for a day out.
