Summer Holiday Family Fun Wednesdays at Nene Valley Railway
This summer we have a fabulous programme of summer fun days throughout the holidays:
Wednesday 27th of July you can make clothes peg butterflies and do other brilliant activities before boarding the Bug Express for a ride to Peterborough where you can visit Railworld to follow their Bug Trail before returning to Wansford.
Wednesday 3rd August is a special day for Princess and Fairy Parties. Come and meet the beautiful princess at one of three hour-long parties followed by a train ride to Peterborough and back, you will meet the Unicorn Queen on board. Be sure to wear your favourite Princess or Fairy outfit. Party times are 9-10am, 11-12am 1-2pm
Wednesday 10th August is the day for our Annual Teddy Express. Bring your teddies along for a ride. Once again there will be three parties followed by a train ride and loads of fun and competitions beforehand. You could also add a children’s lunch box (£5) from our Turntable Café.
Wednesday 17th August come along for our 2022 Summer Sports Day. There will be games around Wansford Station for you to enjoy as well as face painting All of this and a train ride too. Check our website for up to date details.
Wednesday 24th August is another day to wear fancy dress on our Once Upon a Time Story Train. Maybe you could wear your World Book Day costume. There will be story zones, colouring and book themed activities.
Wednesday 31st August is our Superhero Day with a chance to meet some Superhero Hosts who will wave you goodbye as you jump aboard the train. Three Superhero Parties will be at 9-10am, 11-12am and 1-2pm. Every 3 to 15 year old will receive a Superhero themed gift.
