Werrington Scout & Guide Carnival – 27th June 2026
The Werrington Scout & Guide Carnival returns on Saturday 27th June 2026, promising a fantastic day of family fun, community spirit, and entertainment for all ages. The celebrations begin at 1:30pm with a colourful procession starting from Wells Close, making its way through the village and showcasing the wonderful community spirit that makes Werrington so special.
The parade will feature walking tableaux from local Scout and Guide groups, alongside other local organisations, impressive tractors, motorbikes, and a lively marching band to entertain spectators along the route.
The procession will finish at Werrington Primary School, where the fun continues throughout the afternoon. Visitors can enjoy live music, exciting arena entertainment, fairground rides, charity and business stalls, plus a great selection of food and drinks available to purchase.
This annual carnival is a fantastic opportunity for the whole community to come together, celebrate local groups, and enjoy a memorable day out with family and friends. Whether you come to watch the parade, enjoy the entertainment, or support the stalls, there will be something for everyone.
All money raised from the event will go directly to Werrington Scouts & Guides, helping to support activities, equipment, and opportunities for young people in the local community. Come along and support this wonderful cause.
