The Cornish Maize Maze returns for 2024

To celebrate the Paris Olympics 2024, and our brilliant Team GB, The Cornish Maze have created a maze in the shape of a racing catamaran yacht. At Smeaton Farm, the pigs have decided that they can celebrate too with their very own Olympig Games! Go down to the farm this summer and join the pigs in the World's Piggest Maze challenge, play the quizzes and discover who wins the gold (you might even win a medal yourself). The stunning maze with its 3 miles of paths and two look out towers will provide hours of entertainment for visitors young and old; make sure you make a trip to the Cornish Maize Maze and Fun Farm this summer ... will you be able to find your way out?! New for 2024 The Fun Farm now has the longest and fastest SLIP SLIDE in the UK. It is a massive 140 metres long. This is proving very popular and should be booked on the farm’s website. After you have cracked The Maze why not take advantage of their other on-site facilities? Visitors can bounce on trampolines, swing on swings, climb to the top of a huge bale tower, play giant games, dig in the massive sandpit and meet lots of farm and rare breed animals. Relax in the beautiful Cornish countryside with one of their delicious cream teas or true Cornish pasties from the cafe.

Young Vets Club

“Young Vets Club is for children who believe that every animal matters. Created by vets and teachers, it inspires children to champion animal welfare, get outside, and explore careers in science. Members make a difference for animals around the world by supporting Worldwide Veterinary Service in rescuing, treating, and rehabilitating those in need of veterinary care.

Bobo, an orphaned baboon, came to WVS in Malawi after his mother was killed. Baboons depend on their mothers for their first two years, so Bobo needed lots of reassurance. WVS vets provided treatment and care, then transferred him to a facility to find a foster mother and help him return to the wild.

Members adopt a dog, cat, donkey, or monkey. They receive a welcome pack with a cuddly toy of their adopted animal and everything they need to become animal champions. Regular magazines and newsletters, adoption updates, insights into WVS’s work and fun games and challenges keep them learning outside of school.

Our members love knowing what a difference they make. ‘I’m a Young Vet Adventurer because I have always wanted to save as many animals as possible. I like how caring it is,’ Rosa, Young Vets Club Champion.”
