Ambleside Community Christmas Lights
21 November 2026
Address: Cumbria
Venue: Ambleside
Website: https://www.amblesidechristmaslights.com/
The event began as a simple community celebration, centered on Santa casting his magic dust to switch on the lights and illuminate our town through the darker winter months. We are returning to those traditional roots this year, focusing fully on the magical switch-on parade and therefore there will be no firework display. The event will include a children’s fun zone, steamer cruises, market stalls, a lantern procession starting at 4.30pm from the Gables Hotel Find out more at amblesidechristmaslights.com
