If you’re a family with young children and you don’t want to paddleboard separately, you can all go together. A Canadian open-boat canoe can fit a family of up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 young children) and you can join in the session with the paddleboarders before enjoying the freedom to explore more of Derwent Water and practice your newfound skills along the way.
