The Western Lake District KiteFest takes place on the award winning Lake District Coast with its dramatic backdrop of Black Combe and Coniston fells. Land based kite display teams from across northern England will descend upon the coastal village of Haverigg for two full days of displays. The event itself and parking are free. Attractions include; specialist kite display teams with commentary, kite making workshops, teddy bear parachute drop, on-site entertainment, kite and toy retailers, excellent food and drink.
