During the Ice Age, climates sung from cold glacial periods to warm interglacials and back again. Glaciers and ice sheets advanced and retreated, and vertebrate species evolved, adapted, migrated and went extinct. But how do we know so much about a time period that ended 11,700 years ago? This exhibition explores the Science of the Age Ice and gives you some of the answers.
