This means that there is no
better time than now to consider joining local award-winning author, Stephanie Zikmann for
her 'pawesome' pop-up ‘dog safety’ workshops! Certified canine behaviourist, dog trainer and ‘Kids Around Dogs’ professional, Stephanie Zikmann, is eager to start helping families and schools across the West of Scotland learn how to keep children and dogs safe in a fun and interactive way.
Children are taken through a series of dog-specific scenarios and encouraged to explore and identify what the dogs are trying to tell them using their problem-solving skills. Children are encouraged to tap into their creativity and compassion, and learn more about how dogs feel, think and behave, and what makes them different to human beings. Each workshop ends with a series of games before each child is awarded their very own ‘I Am A Dog Detective!’ medal!
