Funz and Gamez Tooz Reader's Review

Funz and Gamez Tooz

Primary Times reader quote

"Stupendously hilarious and silly"

- Mac aged 11

A hilarious game show host called Philsy, an uncle back from the dead (or is it his twin or the real uncle), a dog playing keyboard and an Elf on guitar. Yes, it’s as bonkers and fun as you’d imagine. When the dog’s keyboard breaks (able to eventually fix) Philsy comments “problem with this show is you don’t know if it’s real”! That’s when you get a hint of the madness to follow.

There are games throughout with little chance of children winning any prizes. The round of musical chairs is hilarious and leaves the players baffled. There’s the impossible game of ‘hide n seek’ again, confused but amused children and laughing adults with an inspired version of ‘pin the tail on the donkey’ plus loads more. Adults don’t miss out as they’re invited to play ‘Egg Roulette’ which had children screeching with excitement.

There are rude jokes that go over the heads of children and random events like trying to smash a shopping trolley to extract £1 coin. This show is high energy, fast paced, delivering games and jokes for young and old – its comedy madness at its best.

Connie “the water fight was really funny” (age 6) .
