This show is pure magic comedy. The Victorian characters of Messrs. Morgan and West are so entertaining they could quite easily have stepped straight out of the pages of a Roald Dahl novel. (Or a Two Ronnie’s sketch, for those old enough to appreciate this epic duo!). The playful Mr Morgan spars relentlessly with the sharp-witted Mr West and the result is pure class. That’s even before the magic begins.
Skillful tricks are performed throughout the show, to the enjoyment of the audience, but what makes it utterly unique and special is the dynamic relationship between Morgan and West and their delighted onlookers. Morgan heckles and teases as West performs his individual tricks and West rises to the occasion with acerbic retorts and much exasperated eye-rolling. Morgan excitedly invites young members of the audience to help, while West bemuses them, seemingly resistant to their charms. Their repartee is agile, clever and funny. Their magic is skillful, colourful and fast paced.
Great magic, enormous fun and original delivery. Bring along your children (and your inner child) and enjoy this spiffing, spectacular and unconventional family show.
