Absolutely Fantastic! Despite my seven year old son advising me that he thought he would be too old for this show he had difficulty stiffling his sniggers from the beginning - a true testament to how good this show was. My three year old clearly loved every minute of it as did all the other adults and children alike who were captivated from the start!
Mrs McMoon is a funny, slightly dotty old lady who has forgotten she is meant to be hosting a tea party for the visiting audience. During the show she attempts to make cookies and tea for all in between visits from her cousin and his pet squirrel called Syril, her twin sister and her granddaughter all of whom are equally partial to the much sought after cookies. The show is set within her kitchen with seating for the children on beanbags at the front and proper seats for the adults behind. The show is truly interactive and the actress responds brilliantly to all the suggestions you would expect from children aged three and up including trying to wake Syril the squirrel up by hitting him with the telephone and when that didn’t work singing him the classic twinkle twinkle little star!
This show has everything you could want from a family show. A well paced, easy to follow storyline, singing, dancing, laughter, a cookie recipe and for each of the kids one of Mrs McMoon’s famous scrumulumptious biscuits.
