The Tiger Who Came to Tea Reader's Review

The Tiger Who Came to Tea

Primary Times reader quote

"I liked it when they got all the food for the tiger."

- Rory aged 4

There was a buzz of excitement around the packed theatre as the cast of ‘The Tiger who came to Tea’ opened with a cheerful tune greeting the audience.  This set the tone for the rest of the show: joyful , family entertainment.

Sophie and her mother wave Sophie’s dad off to work little knowing the eventful day that lies ahead.  After visits from a selection of amusing characters they settle down to enjoy afternoon  tea but are rudely interrupted by the most interesting character of all..

The performance kept the audience enthralled from beginning to end.  George, aged 4 ‘liked it when they couldn’t see the tiger.’  Rory, also aged 4,’liked it when they got all the food for the tiger.’

There was the opportunity to participate in ‘tigerobics’ and many chances to sing-a-long with the cast.  The tunes are very catchy, George went to bed singing ‘The Tiger who came to Tea.’

A charming story brought to life in this delightful show.

Suitable for ages 2 and above
