The Complete History of Europe (More or less) Primary Times Children's Choice Award Review
Most of us know a bit about the history of Europe, right? Well, I would say not.
This is presented with visual maps, a lot of acting representing the kings & queens and with great sense of humour. They had everyone in the audience giggling from beginning to end.
The show was exactly what it promised to be without pretence. Unfolding the story starting from the Bronze Age, we learnt about Ancient Greece, the Romans, Industrial & French Revolutions, World Wars and how we got into the European Union. Oh, and now we have left it. Malcolm has indeed read that big book and Joe only read how to play video games. Indeed very hilarious, sure you will agree once you watch it.
The performers full of knowledge and wisdom share this history in a very smooth, engaging, funny and interactive way. The audience both young and old are laughing so much at Joe’s comedy and Malcolm’s seriousness or shall I say the most clever one? Yours to tell.
Its a brilliant show, very educational for the children and the adults who have that history gap. Watch it!!! DON’T MISS IT!!!!!!.
Children's Quotes
Talitha (10) thinks the show was really funny and yet very educational. There was a lot she did not know about the history of Europe and the Romans but she has now acquired this knowledge. Malcolm is a star..... She enjoyed Joe acting silly and speaking in different accents. She loved the EU countries challenge to the audience. She only knew 3. She was very happy to learn that most countries she knows are part of the EU. She says she laughed a lot and would like to watch it again. The actors were great, they even allowed her a photo shoot with them and provided us with the password to their website for this history so she will always be able to refer to it anytime.
Toviah aged (6) says; He adores Joe. He is a great character who can transform into anything just like that. He is also cheeky because he did not read the big massive book but he knew to act everything. He says he loved the bit when the audience was split into two acting the war fighting bit between France and England, it was so hilarious. He says the actors are cool allowing him a photo shoot with them. Brilliant show ever.
