Primary Times Children's Choice Awards review of Celeste's Circus

As soon as you go into the theatre, you enter the charming world of Celeste and her circus as she is waiting to greet you and interact with the children while it takes time for everyone to settle.

Attending with my 2-and-a-half-year-old and wheelchair-bound mother, we were allocated front row seats by the very helpful staff at the Storytelling Centre. We followed Celeste on her journey to the circus, the children (and adults) captivated as each act was revealed; from a fish loving seal to acrobat dogs then building up to the grand finale of a tight-rope walking hippo!

The set is very simple and yet incredibly clever, and Celeste brings the magic alive, encouraging the children to cheer and clap. There were laughs for the young ones and adults alike. Looking around the room I saw amazement in the faces of the youngest babies and delighted anticipation in the older ones. A great fun show, which is well worth a visit!
