TICKET SALES LAUNCH FOR FIRST SUMMER CINEMA AT BRAINTREE VILLAGE
Braintree Village has launched ticket sales for its inaugural open-air cinema which opens in August.
The Summer Cinema at the Essex-based shopping will host three screenings a day, ranging from recent blockbuster hits to family favourites and classic movies. Opening on Tuesday, August 20, until Thursday, August 29, the film schedule will include:
Located adjacent to the North Car Park – where the popular festive ice rink was held for Christmas – the open-air cinema has capacity for 300 guests. Screening times will be 12pm, 3.30pm and 7pm each day with gates opening 45 minutes in advance. Food and drink will be on offer at the event while guests are invited to bring their own deckchairs and blankets. A limited number of pillows and blankets will also be available to hire and can be pre-booked in advance.
Tickets for the Braintree Village Summer Cinema are priced from just £8 for under 12s and £12 per adult, with VIP tickets which include a deckchair in a prime position and treat box on sale for £20*. Each day, the off-peak 12pm movie will be discounted to just £5 per person or £18 for a family ticket**. Under ones are free at all times.
