Get ready for one of the most magical evenings of the year as Your Billericay’s Late Night Light Up event arrives on Thursday 27th November, from 5pm to 9pm throughout Billericay High Street and surrounding streets.
The Late Night Light Up event celebrates community spirit, festive fun, and supporting the incredible independent and high street businesses that make the town so special.
As the festive lights twinkle and shop windows come alive with Christmas sparkle, Billericay will transform into a winter wonderland of shopping, entertainment, and cheer. The evening invites residents and visitors alike to shop late and celebrate local, all while enjoying the friendly atmosphere that is set to make this event such a highlight in the town calendar.
From fashion boutiques and gift shops to cosy cafés and restaurants, local businesses will be staying open late so visitors can get a head start on their Christmas shopping or simply enjoy an evening out with friends and family. Expect exclusive in-store offers, festive treats, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities to pick up unique gifts to tick off the Christmas list.
The streets will be filled with seasonal entertainment and live performances to spread Christmas joy. Families can look forward to festive music, dazzling lights, and a Candy Cane Trail – anyone wanting to take part can pick up a free trail sheet from the Your Billericay gazebo (outside the Red Lion) on the night and search for hidden candy cane posters in shop windows. After finding them all and completing the trail, there’s a candy cane treat to collect from the Your Billericay team! It’s a magical way to explore local stores, enjoy the lights, and add a sprinkle of festive adventure to your evening.
To make it even easier to attend, there will be no parking restrictions in the Waitrose and council-managed car park behind Iceland between 5pm and 9pm, ensuring everyone can visit stress-free and focus on enjoying the festivities.
