Discover the science of colour and light
Glasgow Science Centre is helping P5 to P7 teachers inspire learners to discover the science of light and the amazing things we do with it in their extended educational programme, Learning Lab: Colour and Light.
Learning Lab provides teachers with the training, resources and support to develop their pupils into the next generation of scientists and engineers. Pupils will find out what colours make light, how light reflects and refracts, and its use in everyday life. Specifically designed to hit CfE experiences and outcomes, the programme covers essential numeracy and literacy skills.
Classroom learning is enhanced by a free visit to Glasgow Science Centre, by getting students hands-on with STEM.
