Travel back to Newtown’s medieval past and the ancient festival once held there. Test your aim with archery, see how far you can balance on the slackline, and dress up for a photo-opp in the stocks. There are hidden mice to hunt for too – keep your eyes open for the mysterious Pied Piper of Newtown…. This ancient backwater is one of the best places to explore for nature in the summer – its network of secluded creeks and waterways, flower meadows and woodland is bursting with wildlife, from dragonflies and butterflies to red squirrels. 10am-5pm. Normal admission applies.
