Meet Father Christmas in one of the historic buildings, listen to local choirs performing seasonal tunes and say ‘hello’ to the festive ponies. The 1940s Prefab will show how people celebrated a restrained wartime Christmas enlivened by make-do-and-mend decorations. Tudor re-enactors will be bringing history to life showing pre-Christmas preparations and visitors are invited to help them make traditional kissing boughs. Book tickets online.
