Encompass can make a real difference to the lives of children and young people in Bromley
Encompass seeks to ensure every child looked after, lives within a family home, where possible. Encompass trains and provides bespoke family units for all children and young people where care is tailored to individual needs. Encompass provides children and young people with a specialised level of care, to ensure they are ‘welcomed, accepted, held and protected' in a family home, where care is consistent and safe, and where children and young people are supported to achieve to their full potential.
Encompass is unique and differs from mainstream fostering; all the Encompass families will have access to specific therapeutic training to assist them to care for children who have experienced trauma, with the aim of the Encompass families becoming therapeutic, specialised carers. They will be closely supported by the Encompass Supervising Social Worker, Encompass Team and Bromley’s THRIVE service; the Encompass family will be part of the Team Around the Carer, as well as Team Around the Child.
