Lincolnshire school children enjoy festive storytelling sessions to celebrate Christmas
To get into the festive spirit, housebuilder Allison Homes has provided three special Christmas storytelling sessions to a school close to its Frampton Gate development in Frampton, Lincolnshire.
Mark Fraser performing to Kirton Primary students
All year groups from one to six at Kirton Primary School were able to enjoy the exciting performance in three separate sessions grouped by age, held at the school.
In honour of the festive season, professional storyteller Mark Fraser performed his special rendition of A Christmas Carol, which was specially tailored to each age group so that all of the children could have maximum enjoyment and understanding of the story.
Jemma Wells, Assistant Headteacher at Kirton Primary School, said: “We would like to thank Allison Homes for generously providing the students with this wonderful storytelling session. The children all very much enjoyed the story and it was great that we were able to include so many of them in this experience. It’s really valuable for children to be able to have these kinds of experiences and learn in an exciting new way.”
Samantha Hart, Sales and Marketing Director at Allison Homes Central Region, said: “We were absolutely delighted to be able to provide these Christmas storytelling sessions to the students at Kirton Primary. A love of stories and storytelling is an essential component of a child’s education and it’s an honour to be able to foster that.
“We’re very happy to hear that the children had a lovely time and wish them and all the teachers at Kirton Primary a very merry Christmas.”
