EVENTS PROGRAMME AT THE VENUE, NAVENBY
The Venue at Navenby is a registered charity, whose purpose is to provide facilities to the residents of Navenby and all of the surrounding area. To support this purpose we have developed a growing events programme, which we are excited to see evolve in 2025 and 2026. Our space is used by many local businesses, who benefit from low hall hire rates and these businesses offer local people a vast array of recreational classes and workshops. We also have a youth club and dementia café who use the space to support our community.
Our events programme is designed for all and we are committed to adding social value to the area and building a resilient and cohesion community. Throughout the first half of the year, we have run a board game café for families, a community curry night, a music and bar evening, a classical afternoon tea and an Easter fete. These events have been enjoyed by residents of all ages and people have begun to look forward to the next event, inviting friends from far and wide.
Coming up throughout the rest of the year we have a festival weekend on 6th-8th June, a silent disco on 25th July, an outdoor cinema on 30th August, a wedding fair on October 12th and fireworks on November 8th. Our events are about bringing people together and our infectious enthusiasm to make these a success is spreading. We are always looking for volunteers to help so do get in touch if you would like to join to team and we are also seeking sponsorship for our larger events.
