Manchester Grammar Junior School Cricketers celebrate impressive hat-trick of trophies

Young cricketers at The Manchester Grammar Junior School celebrated unprecedented success on the field this year, having won an impressive treble of titles. The boys helped the School’s Under-11 team enjoy its best ever season and won three major trophies in the space of just 11 days. As champions of Lancashire, the team competed in the semi-final of the National Cup tournament finishing in third place - an astonishing achievement considering the calibre of teams drawn from across the country. Hulme Hall Grammar School gets a new home

Hulme Hall Grammar School is moving to a new site from September 2017. The Independent school established in 1928 will be leaving Cheadle Hulme and moving to Davenport to the former site of Hillcrest Grammar School. The whole school community is excited about the move as the new site offers a beautiful, traditional building with state of the art facilities. Stockport Grammar pupils return from an action packed summer

From exploring Borneo to ghyll scrambling in Grasmere, Stockport Grammar pupils are returning to school refreshed following an action packed summer trips programme. Second Year pupils spent four days in the Lake District embarking on a host of exciting activities such as canyoning, canoeing, raft building and ghyll scrambling. They were also able to take in the beautiful scenery the area has to offer when they completed an ambitious hike that saw them climb Heron Pike and Great Rigg.

Sixth Formers spent three weeks in Borneo volunteering and exploring the country’s ancient rainforest and unique wildlife as well as completing a scuba diving qualification. Pupils from all year groups enjoyed a highly successful Music tour of the Rhineland in Germany which saw them perform in Cologne Cathedral.
