Em lives near the River Wear. She is ten (and three quarters), and she isn’t scared of made-up stories, okay? There’s enough to worry about right here. But one night, the world feels different. And Em finds something magic to believe in – something magnificent that will change her mind forever.

Join multi-talented maestros, Bridget Marumo, Hannabiell Sanders and Tim Dalling, on a journey across the marvellous North East like you’ve never seen it before, and into the miraculous unknown. Directed by Unfolding Theatre’s Annie Rigby, with set design by Imogen Cloët and written by Lindsay Rodden, Here Be Dragons is for everyone who’s ever wanted to fly away. Sometimes we all need a little bit of magic.

Brought to life on The Unfolding Theatre—a unique pop-up stage crafted from reclaimed wood—the show is designed to tour both outdoor and indoor spaces, bringing joy to the heart of local communities across the North East.
