Immediate Media Co’s Youth and Children’s titles have collaborated as part of World Book Day 2015, today, 5th March. The magazines will be circulating enough vouchers to give away over 800,000 books for free until the end of March.
Each voucher inside Immediate’s Youth & Children portfolio entitles children to a free ‘World Book Day’ book or £1 off any book
Now in it’s 18th year, World book Day is the biggest annual celebration of reading for children, and Immediate Media’s Youth & Children’s brands are offering all readers a chance to get a free book between the 2nd-29th March 2015.
Some of the magazines taking part are: BBC Top Of The Pops Magazine, BBC Match of the Day Magazine, Girl Talk, Skylanders and Dreamworks. Other titles such as pre-school for children under 6 taking part are CBeebies, Octonauts, Peter Rabbit, In the Night Garden and BBC Something Special.
To claim your free book simply cut out the voucher and take it into participating stores.
One token per child & transaction.
You can swap your token for £1 off any book or audio book worth £2.99.
Elmer’s Parade is one of the participating books in this year’s World Book Day for children aged 2+, which you can pick up for just £1 using the token from the magazines.
According to Steph Cooper Senior Editor Pre-School Magazines: “World Book Day is an integral part of our children’s development in reading and a fantastic chance for children who do not usually read books, to go out and try something new. With every child already being given a voucher from their school, the vouchers inside our magazines will give them the chance to pick up two books instead of just one, meaning double the fun and double the saving.”
