Can my child take part in their favourite CBeebies show?
Most children taking part in CBeebies programmes are found by means of casting sessions run by our production teams to find children to take part in a particular show.
Such casting sessions usually take place in schools and nurseries, and take account of many factors - for example, different shows require different types of contribution, such as specific age ranges, or links to the subject matter of the programme.
Whenever there are any open opportunities to take part in our programmes, details will be posted on this page and promoted through our social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.
You can also keep up to date with all the BBC's live events and audience opportunities by registering with the BBC Shows, Tours and Events website.
If there aren't any current opportunities listed here, it means that we're not currently looking for children to take part in any filming. We regret that we are unable to consider requests for individual children or specific schools or nurseries to take part in future programmes.
My Pet and Me needs you
Do you know a child who loves to care for an animal or a pet? My Pet and Me is returning for a third series and we are looking for children and their pets to take part!
The programme focuses on how a child cares for and interacts with their pet and we are very interested in speaking to adults (Parents, Grandparents, Aunties & Uncles etc.) who along with a child and their pet, would like to get involved in the programme.
We are looking for confident, chatty and outgoing children. They must be aged 4–7 years and have an adult family member who is willing to take part in the filming also. The pet doesn’t need to be a house pet, it can be a farm animal, a nursery pet, or even an animal within the community, but the child must have a connection to the animal and also have some experience of helping to care for it. We would like to feature a variety of animals in the series – so no animal is too big, too small or too hairy.
If selected, filming will be a maximum of 3 consecutive days during June to October 2016.
How to apply
- All contact made with us must be from an adult and not a child and all contact numbers and email addresses provided must be for the adult.

- We would like to find out some details about the child, their pet and why you think they should appear on the programme.
- Your completed application form must include a recent photograph of the child and their pet. (please note that we will not be able to return any hard copies sent via a postal application)
- The closing date for all applications is Friday 18th March 2016
