Hundreds of schools have registered their interest in Duracell’s Big Battery Hunt and you can too!
Register your school to be part of Duracell’s FREE education programme and recycling challenge. Students will learn about battery recycling and win fantastic prizes. The free educational programme contains fun curriculum linked maths activities and homework sheets.
All participating schools and students will be entered into a draw for great prizes including: a 3-year MyMaths subscriptions for schools, educational trips for students and teachers to a sustainability centre, iPads and more!
It has never been easier to get your school involved in recycling. Simply sign-up now to receive a kit containing:
Collection boxes with fun activities and facts for all participating students
A recycling container for your all registered schools
Colour printed resources, including pupil workbooks and progress charts, for the first 120 schools to register (available to download for all schools)
The challenge is accompanied by a resource which includes detailed teacher notes, an engaging assembly presentation, a progress tracker and a pupil booklet to work through in class or set as homework. It will help teach pupils aged 9-11 the importance of recycling while challenging them to several curriculum-linked maths tasks.
