Red Nose Day is back on Friday 15 March and thousands of primary schools across the UK have already begun the countdown to the most epic fundraising day on the school calendar by ordering their free fundraising pack from comicrelief.com/primary
After raising more than £5 million for Red Nose Day 2017, pupils and teachers alike are gearing up to once again don a nose, bake, splat, dance, dress up and more, all to raise cash and change lives in the UK and worldwide.
Comic Relief Schools Fundraising Lead, Laura Wilson, said curating memorable and meaningful Red Nose Day moments at school has been made easier than ever.
“This year we’ve developed really helpful and inspiring free fundraising packs, which include a fundraising guide, posters, stickers and balloons, all designed especially for primary schools,” she said.
“Schools can order a free pack from comicrelief.com/primary before Friday 8 March to have these tips, tools and classroom ideas land in their school’s post box in time for the big day.”
Ms Wilson also said Red Nose Day isn’t just an exciting opportunity to take part in a fantastic day of fundraising.
“Red Nose Day also gives pupils a great chance to learn more about the world around them and how Comic Relief is working to change lives both at home in the UK and around the globe,” she said.
“Within our fundraising pack’s guide, schools are introduced to 12-year-old aspiring artist Farhad, who fled Iran with his family and embarked on a dangerous year-long journey to a Serbian refugee camp where Comic Relief provides funding.”
