toucanBox Pledge to Donate 6000 Craft Activity Boxes Across 45 services for Vulnerable Children

toucanBox has partnered with Barnardo’s, to help support the children’s charity that has been providing much-needed support to families in need throughout the last 12-months of the Covid-19 pandemic.
From 1st April 2021, and throughout the Easter holiday period, in a one-for-one pledge by toucanBox, vulnerable children supported by Barnardo’s, will be gifted a free crafting and activity box, every time a new subscription is made via www.toucanbox.com. Barnardo’s will distribute the craft boxes across its services and children’s centres located around the UK.
Charles-Dear, Founder toucanBox said “As we embark on yet another school holiday period, at home, its imperative children are entertained with enriching activity. Further to a year at home, or ongoing home learning, there is definite fatigue and with ‘having nothing to do’ many vulnerable children will be left to their own devices whilst the UK remains in its state of lockdown.”
She added “Partnering with Barnardo’s, a charity that provides a range of services to help and support families was an absolute for our team. toucanBox was created with a vision to unleash children’s creativity and to inspire fun through learning. Our little creatives are introduced to STEM subjects without even realising. Gifting those in a vulnerable situation and encouraging their ongoing creativity, whilst schools are closed, is our top priority.”
Those purchasing a 141 gifted Box will have their own toucanBox validated with a limited-edition sticker, confirming their part in the charitable partnership.
