SEA LIFE centres’ nationwide welcome back visitors on epic family days out

SEA LIFE centres’ nationwide are excited to be able to welcome back visitors and can’t wait to ‘sea’ guests enjoying epic family days out!

There are more reasons than ever to visit SEA LIFE and create magic memories throughout 2021! You can now visit the UK’s very first Sea otters exclusively at SEA LIFE Birmingham! Following an epic journey to the UK from Alaska, they have settled into their specially built rescue facility and the cuddly pair – Ozzy and Ola- love meeting the public! Whilst there, you can also meet a colony of Gentoo penguins in an Arctic adventure, and be wowed by the 360 degree ocean tunnel as fish, sharks and rays glide round you!

Plus, come face-to-fin with awesome sharks as they glide through the ocean tunnel at SEA LIFE Loch Lomond - set in the imposing Drumkinnon Tower - where you can also catch up with the only Cownose rays in Scotland, meet a cheeky trio of Asian Short Clawed otters and marvel at the largest collection of sharks in Scotland!

If you love sharks, you can also see them as they swim and around the Shipwreck at Manchester, where you can also spot two magnificent Green Sea turtles- Cammy and Ernie. You can also enter the Lair of the Giant Crab (if you dare!) where you can check out their Giant Japanese Spider crab, with the largest leg span of any arthropod!

If bugs and cool creepie crawlies are your thing, venture to the Rainforest Adventure that awaits at SEA LIFE Scarborough! Immerse yourself in a world of lurking lizards and curious critters. Be just centimetres away from Green Tree Pythons, and me mesmerised at the incredible colours of the Poison Arrow Dart frogs! You will also see adorable seal pups and learn about their journey from rescue to rehabilitation and release at their seal hospital.

If seals are your favourite, you’ll also be able to learn about their incredible rehabilitation journey at SEA LIFE Hunstanton, also home to a seal hospital working around the year to rescue pups! As well as that, you can also see Humboldt penguins as they waddle around their beach themed home, with incredible Inca Terns – the birds with moustaches - flying overhead.

At SEA LIFE Weymouth you can visit Europe’s only colony of Fairy in their amazing walk through home at Penguin Island where the world’s smallest penguin play at your feet, before exploring Caribbean Cove- Dorset’s largest outdoor playground! All of this plus otters, seals, sharks, rays and amazing rescue turtles!

Visit the African Dwarf crocs at SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth, then swim by their awesome ocean tunnel where you can marvel at Noah the Sea turtle- their resident celeb! You’ll also be captivated by the colourful Jellyfish display, entertained by the penguins and brand new for 2021, you can enjoy an interactive Rockpool Explorer experience!

At SEA LIFE Brighton you’re in for a treat as you enter through the incredible Victorian arcade of the world’s oldest aquarium! Explore the world of Day and Night in their ocean tunnel experience, dance along the bioluminescent waves and be amazed by the colours of the glowing coral! Visit Lulu and Gulliver – thought to be the oldest turtles in an aquarium anywhere – and get face to fin with sharks and ray before heading off to the rainforest to meet some of the hardest working ants around!
