Watch new Supertato episodes on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer

The action-packed animation series following the adventures of Supertato, the world’s greatest potato superhero, returns to CBeebies and BBC iPlayer for a second series of supermarket-set silliness inspired by the best-selling books by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet. Supertato and his fruit and veg pals have to try to stop veggie villain Evil Pea from taking over their supermarket.

The store may be closed but everything is far from quiet in the aisles. Evil Pea has escaped her icy lair in the freezer and is determined to take over the supermarket forever, unless Supertato can outwit her with his spud-smarts. Each episode brings new challenges and hilarious slapstick silliness from robots to radishes, but will our superhero be able to protect his friends and return Evil Pea to the freezer where she belongs?

In Monday’s episode, Supertato shows the Grape Kids a Supertato training film but Evil Pea sneaks in to take over Tato Tower. The Grape Kids use the rug launcher to eject Evil Pea out of the tower.

On Tuesday Evil Pea’s throne has been stolen and after following clues it seems that Supertato is the thief. Carrot decides to uncover the truth.

There’s more trouble on Wednesday when Supertato is out chasing a Milkshake Robot and leaves Broccoli in charge of Tato Tower. Evil Pea tries to takeover Tato Tower but Broccoli puts on a great defence.

In Thursday’s episode Supertato is being awarded the ‘Best Hero Award’ but Evil Pea decides she should get the award. Carrot tells her she needs to defeat herself to win the award.

And on Friday, Supertato’s Tato Belt gets locked inside a glass case for an exhibition, but Tomato can’t remember the code to get it out again. Supertato needs it back to defeat Evil Pea.

All episodes are available on BBC iPlayer.
